25 August New BLOG editing tool...Well, I'm not always one to "tote the corporate line", but this is a cool little freeware app - called "Windows Live Writer". It will automatically post whatever you want to your blog. And the good news is that it works with other blogs, besides LiveSpaces!It's fully WYSIWYG and enables the posting of pictures - and automatically does all of the thumbnailing and the like. Except - I'm having problems posting pictures to the site...again... :-( One great feature is that it spell checks for you! :-) This is a great feature for me, no because I spell so bad, but because I type so bad! Anyway - this is the maiden voyage post. I'll try it a few more times and post more if I find anything earth shattering. Stay tuned - more to come... 16 August Rebecca is now officially a College StudentWell, we took Rebecca to Pullman to start her freshman year at WSU. The trip was uneventful but very difficult. Not only was it roughly 600 miles round-trip, excluding the side trip to Idaho, but leaving her behind was emotionally draining as well. You realize, about two days before you go, that this isn't summer camp - she won't be coming home in a week... Anyway - with the help of our pastor (Pastor Lance from Orting FourSquare) and his lovely wife Pollie, we were able to borrow their SUV in order to take all of Becky's stuff in one vehicle! We could have taken it all in the Jeep, but we would have had to take out the back seat!
I wound up with a migraine on Tuesday morning (somewhere around oh-dark-thirty) and missed a day of work. I also came home early on Wednesday since I was still dragging a bit... Now I'm looking forward to Thanskgiving...and her first trip home!
